The back of the lens is inteded to be mounted in a rectangular cutout area while the front of the lens sits flush to the exterior mounting surface. The rectangular backing of this light measures approximately 9.26″ long and is .5″ wide. The wiring on this light is located in the center. This brake light is illuminated by 28 LED lights and is DOT/SAE approved. This light is often found on many RVs, truck caps, and SUV model vehicles.
